A great international sales opportunity in the aerospace engineering sector based at our HQ near Henfield. Hayward and Green Aviation are expanding their business and sales team and require an enthusiastic and motivated individual. Key responsibilities include maintaining current customer accounts, developing sales leads with international airlines and maintenance providers, responding to enquiries received globally via our sales network, recording quotations and sales data using our computer systems, developing sales leads through written email and verbal communication, liaising with our international supply chain.

Passionate about aviation? Interested in engineering? We are looking for a hands-on and motivated individual to join our technical and logistics team. Key responsibilities will include, technical inspection of aircraft parts against quality standards, stock checking, picking and packing of aircraft parts, assisting in the dis-assembly of fixed wing and rotary aircraft, jet and turbine engines and electrical, hydraulic and airframe components, cross-referencing and analysis of CMMs, IPCs and Aps.

Our supply chain spans over 20 different countries with more than 500 regular suppliers. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated aviation professional to join our purchasing and finance department.

You will work closely with the current purchasing team to perform the following roles -

  • Placing Orders on existing and new Suppliers
  • Working with the Sales and Logistics team to ensure Customer pricing, lead-time and quality expectations are fulfilled
  • Working with the Quality manager to approve and qualify new suppliers
  • Order book management
  • Supplier Management
  • Progressing existing orders
  • Working with the Export team to ensure Orders are placed in compliance with UK and US export Controls
  • Working with the Finance manager to ensure suitable Credit limits are in place

You will also work closely with the finance manager in the following capacities -

  • Creditor and Debtor management
  • Assisting with negotiating and setting credit terms for existing and new suppliers
  • Management of customer/supplier credit limits within the Inventory Management system

The role would suit an individual with existing purchasing experience although not necessarily from the aviation sector.

Experience of a computerised Inventory Management system is essential.

A sound working knowledge of Excel is preferred.

An additional language is advantageous.

A natural interest in International trade and aviation is beneficial.
