A Stunning Day at Preston Nomads raising funds for Kangaroos Sussex –

Match report by Simon Green.

With the hotly contested cricket matching the weather, we were treated to some superb batting, variable bowling, some stunning dropped catches but thankfully no dropped helicopters.

With a team of highly competitive and far too young players, PDQ beat a Hayward & Green side of fine pedigree in the final. This followed superb displays from all sides in the group matches, namely AJ Walter, Floral Image, Clyde & Co. and the scratch side of the Aviation Club.

We’ll be back year – bigger, better, hungrier, more biddiful and thirstier!
